How is Equine Nerve Release different from other equine bodywork?

Nerve release is a horse-centred modality that works ‘with’ the horse rather than ‘on’ the horse. With a strong focus on consent and creating an environment of relaxation, nerve release allows the horse to communicate and be a part of the treatment, creating longer lasting, more meaningful changes in their body. Treatments incorporate movement and in-hand techniques along with hands-on modalities and are tailored to the individual horse, depending on their needs.

When to use Equine Nerve Release

Equine Nerve Release is a very gentle technique and can be tailored to the individual horse to treat many different physical and behavioural issues. However, it is always important to look at the horse as a whole and there may be times when other things need to be considered or ruled out such as hoof issues, ulcers, saddle fit and dental issues, in which case referral to a relevant professional will be recommended.
